ExportMiya publishes educational export guides, documentation explanations and practical tools. Our purpose is to help readers understand a process and identify what they need to verify for their own transaction.

Research and sources

We prefer official and authoritative sources: relevant government authorities, legislation and notices, trade agreements, international trade bodies and standards organisations. For India-specific statements, sources may include DGFT, CBIC, ICEGATE, the Ministry of Commerce or RBI where relevant. Citing an authority does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Carrier or other practical guidance may support a measurement or commercial explanation, but it is not treated as a substitute for regulatory sources. We identify source dates and limitations where material. An old manual may explain a durable concept without establishing today’s portal steps or legal requirements. If full text is unavailable, we should say so rather than imply it has been read.

India-specific and international guidance

We distinguish Indian requirements from general international commercial practice and destination-specific rules. A common field, document or business practice is not automatically mandatory for every shipment. Product, country, shipping mode and payment arrangements can change the applicable requirements.

Review and updates

Published content should be checked against its cited sources before publication and when materially revised. Publication and update dates describe the page history; source-review notes explain the evidence checked. They do not guarantee that every subsequent regulatory change has been captured.

When a credible correction or a relevant change comes to our attention, we review the affected wording and sources. Material changes should be reflected in the page’s update information. Readers should still verify current requirements with the relevant authority or qualified professional before acting.

Examples and tools

Fictional businesses, transactions, values and document examples are labelled as illustrations. They are not prescribed statutory formats or approved filings. Calculator explanations state their assumptions and limits; a correct calculation does not establish shipment compliance, freight pricing or carrier acceptance.

Technology-assisted work and attribution

ExportMiya may use technology and AI tools to assist research, drafting, editing or technical work. Their output is not an authority; published claims should be reviewed against sources. We do not claim that a lawyer, chartered accountant, customs broker or other professional has reviewed a page unless that review actually occurred and is identified accurately.

“ExportMiya Editorial” is a collective editorial attribution used by this independently operated website, not a professional qualification. The site is owned by an individual in India and uses “ExportMiya Team” as its public publisher name.

Independence and commercial relationships

Content decisions should be based on reader usefulness and evidence. Analytics, Google AdSense and affiliate links are future plans, not active features at present. If advertising, sponsorship or affiliate relationships are introduced, applicable relationships will be clearly disclosed and should not determine factual conclusions or replace source checks.
